It’s a good candidate for the worst trade in Flyers history, particularly now that Bobrovsky has led the Panthers to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships and is a strong Hall of Fame candidate, too. Just as bad was the reason they did it: to sign Ilya Bryzgalov to a disastrous, long-term deal that they ended up buying out.
