NBA 2K27 Review: Is This the Most Radical Redesign Yet?
The WNBA gets … three voice actors who call the high school game in the men’s career mode. It’s absolutely not a knock on the three voice actors, who are genuinely good at their jobs, but it’s a slap in the face to WNBA fans. It would be the most minor of investments to get real TV commentators like Ryan Ruocco, Rebecca Lobo, and Holly Rowe, who call the WNBA for ESPN — even using Michael Grady, Lisa Byington, and Mike Watts, who call the game for Amazon. Ideally it would be both, but there needs to be better representation of the women’s game and further investment to make it feel like more than a perfunctory add-on.
