Jay Paterno Reveals Shocking Insights on Drew Allar and Penn State’s NFL Draft Future
If you look at the first 10 years, I think it was when Penn State first got in the Big Ten…’93 to 2001, 2002, that era. Eight of the 11 teams in the league won the Big Ten title in that stretch. Are we gonna go through that kind of stretch? I don’t know, but if you look at it, Michigan’s won the Big Ten title. Indiana has won the Big Ten title. Ohio State hasn’t won it in a while, but they won the national title. So three Big Ten teams won the national title. Oregon won the Big Ten title; they beat Penn State two years ago. But there’s a much deeper class. I think USC is on the verge of starting to make moves. Washington is a team that I think is gonna be dangerous and maybe move into that class, ’cause the quarterback they’ve got, [and some other] people. So there are no gimmes in this league anymore.
